The
UAB Ambassador Program, founded in 1978, is the University’s oldest student leadership opportunity. This group of dedicated students is committed to serving the University as the official hosts and hostesses at recognized University activities and events.
Ambassadors collectively give more than 1,000 hours of service to various campus departments throughout the year and have established a respected reputation of integrity, service, and tradition.
Ambassadors are selected each spring in coordination with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership’s Student Leader Selection. Information Sessions will
be hosted during Student Leader Selection to provide additional information for students interested in applying. At the conclusion of Student Leader Selection, 24 outstanding students will be selected to serve as UAB Ambassadors.
